Me: Hey Tallulah, How 'bout if we get a photo of your beautiful smile today?
T: No way. I don't like that camera thing. Nuh uh.
Me: It's not so bad. Everyone wants to see your smile!
T: Don't make me, please.
Me: Aww. How you gonna find your home if you don't smile for pictures?
T: How's this? Can I smile upside down?
Me: Sure, that's cute. But can't you please give me that smile when you're sitting up pretty?
T: Umm .... Still scary. Scary camera!
Me: Okay - How 'bout you hide behind my leg and smile without looking at it?
T: Okay! Here I am! Does this mean my home will find me now?
Me: Yep. You did good.
She is darling!
ReplyDeleteTry putting a cookie on your nose. Or on her nose!
ReplyDeleteAhahaha love the upside down smile :)
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Hopefully, it won't be long until she feels the same about the camera that my dog does: it's a type of treat! (Of course, a few actual treats in the presence of the camera may be necessary to help her make the switch.)
ReplyDeleteshe's unfortunately too smart for the treat distraction, but she's learning that she gets mega-love whenever the camera comes around - the ultimate bribe.
ReplyDeletemy own Sally never has and never will give it up for the camera. brat!
