Loni says...

...Well. Now what? This smart street urchin thinks being tossed full tilt out of the van was by far the very best thing that ever happened to her. It's clear she wasn't home. And with swinging teats and bleeding bite marks, she would not have been popular at the shelter.

We don't understand how the cosmic bingo game works or why it spits out a certain dog's number in our direction when it does, but we don't fight the game. One man's trash is going to be another man's treasure and we get to holler 'JACKPOT!' when her playing card finally fills up. Welcome to our world, little Loni.

  1. Donna, a friend of a friend of mine found this little girl and brought her to you and I've been following her story up to her arrival at the Rescue Barn. I'm so happy she found her way to you. Little Loni will no doubt bring her new family a ton of joy! Look at that grin!

    1. Hi Eliza! Thanks for the note. We have a ways to go to get this girl healthy, but - yes - she's got family love lined up for her somewhere in her future. Life's curve balls, eh?

  6. Hi Donna,

How truly wonderful to see Loni looking so healthy and happy already! I've tried to contact you guys a few times about walking her and attending a few of her training sessions (as you all suggested) - maybe your email server is down? Please let me know. I sure do miss this special girl.

    Best,
    Jenna
