Because Olive's back story encompasses everything from no-kill philosophy to dog evaluations to sanctuaries, I thought it best to post on our Original Blog so a wider audience can chew on it. Not sure if we're ready to go to facebook with this topic (eek! - doghelpme) but for now, here's the low-down, nitty gritty, scoop de jour on our favorite new girl from SoCA:
Olive, interrupted.
Miss Olive, welcome to the rest of your life. It's gonna be a good one, this much I know, because you've landed in a place that insures that.
ReplyDeleteDonna (and the rest of the BR crew), thank you from the bottom of my heart. Now if y'all will excuse me, I need a tissue.
I am crying. Sad and happy. Sad for Olive and what she had to endure. Sad for all other dogs that have to endure the same thing. Sad for the dogs that are sent away to Texas and places similar to be kept worse that zoo animals.
ReplyDeleteHappy for Olive that she got out. Happy for Olive that she has "the barn" and all it offers. Sad that I don't have the means and the knowledge to have my own "barn" that is successful as "the" barn. Happy I am able to give two dogs a home. I need to start buying lottery tickets.
Bless her heart. I always love happy endings for these dogs.
