Behold! Jimmy with his new dad, strutting through class. Two tall drinks of water, aren't they?
After a surgery to remove some irritating tumors from his eye, Jimmy went off to live with Dave and Clare. He's been at home for a week, and while he was initially distressed (pacing, pacing, pacing), he's finally settling down, de-stuffing toys, claiming sleep spots, enjoying morning runs with Clare, and going to work everyday with Dave.
It was great to see both smiling today. No, more than great -- It was fantastic. Go Jimmy, Go Jimmy, Go Jimmy! Have yourself a LIFE now, ya'hear?
I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! I knew he would go home. Three cheers for Jimmy and his new family. Thank you Bad Rap for giving him a chance!
ReplyDeleteLook at Jimmy steppin' out! Sounds like they all make a great family together.
ReplyDeleteLove those smiles - Hooray!
ReplyDeleteYay! So happy that Jimmy is out of his shell and settling in with a family!
ReplyDeleteSo happy for Jimmy! And those who adopt seniors are not only especially compassionate, but smarter than the rest! Skip the chewing, jumping, running, mouthing puppyhood and go straight to the snugglers!
ReplyDeleteI had to check to make sure that was THE Jimmy. Yay!!! I think you'll get the hang of it right quick now that you've got your very own home and, it sounds like, two of the sweetest parents around. Kisses!
ReplyDeleteHe finally found the people he was looking for. So good to hear this on a chilly Monday morning. As Olive goes, so goes Jimmy.
ReplyDeleteGotta love the happily forever ending just in time for the holidays! Hooray for Jimmy and Family! Hooray for Badrap! Great match it seems. Thanks for all you do!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Jimmy :)
