Just in case you want to say good bye before she stretches her wings and takes flight, Birdy is getting ready to fly home after seven months of love, love and more love.
Here's the tiny little window into her Now...
Birdy
This sad news brings a lot of tears to my eyes, but I am so happy that Birdy was able to spend her last 7 months in such a loving environment. My thoughts and prayers are with Birdy and her VERY special lady.
So glad you got to know love and we know you will look just so beautiful with your wings when the time comes. Thanks to all of you for letting us share in the life of one beautiful, innocent dog named Miss Birdy and all the wonderful people who did the right thing for her and her special lady who gave us such wonderful updates and those beautiful pictures, especially the last one. May her grief soon turn to hope that she will reunite some day with her special Miss Birdy. We will all miss you sweet girl but are happy you knew love for awhile.
my heart is absolutely sad and heartbroken because I wish this beautiful girl had longer with her wonderful and loving lady. but i am happy they had at least 7 months of love... god bless you birdy... you will be missed. rest easy girl.
Bokenhearted whenever we lose these sweet souls. But so grateful for Badrap and especially the loving Lady who cared for and clearly adored this sweet little Bird. Thank you for giving her such a great life these few short months and sharing that with all of us.
Thank you for touching so many hearts Miss Birdie. I never had the pleasure to meet you, but your story has taught me many lessons about compassion, hope, and unconditional love. You will be missed, but not forgotten. Spread your wings, and fly high Miss Birdie. Hugs to the special person who opened their heart, and arms to you.
Hi Birdy! I just wrote you something on your own blog too. Thank you for letting us get to know you and sharing your love and beautiful blue jewel. You are a very very good dog. Very lucky too, to have found the purest and truest thing in the world, unconditional love. I love you so, and will always remember you.
PS. I'm quite jealous of your In-N-Out Burger meal!
I love you, Birdy. And I've never met you. I cry buckets when I think about this. My Jack died from lymphoma 18 months ago and I know exactly what you and your Mom are going through. This brings back a lot of memories for me.
But I know you'll be just fine, and I know your Mom will cry for a long time to come... but she'll be fine, too. Please know that you will always be in my heart, and I am so grateful to have taken the journey with you, even if only over the Internet.
Rest well, sweet Birdy. May your journey be a happy one.
We will light a candle to help Birdy find her way home. Many thanks to you, Bad Rap, and Birdy's Lady for giving her the love she deserves over the past seven months.
Bless your hearts! Sweet Birdy - so glad we got to know you and you shared your time with us! Steak and ice cream is what my boy had when it was his time too! I'm glad you had such very special people that loved you and cared for you these last seven months! We will never forget your beautiful smile and beautiful eyes!
