We like to packrat video clips during dog intros and other key moments in hopes that they can help somebody someday. Here are some highlights of those beginning days in the barn with Olive, and her gradual acknowledgement that dogs are not only safe -- but fun! Enjoy.
(A wee warning: this one is nine minutes long and could've gone much longer if my iMovie didn't keep crashing on me!)
Wonderful! I'm so glad you gave Olive a chance!
ReplyDeleteI would have watched another nine minutes of this :)
ReplyDeleteThis dog and this film show two things clearly: kennels are no place to judge a dog's personality and it's worth giving every one of them a second chance.
ReplyDeleteYou done good, Olive girl.
What an amazing story! Thanks for sharing, and for all of the hard work you do. We are currently working on integrating our foster dog to our family, after a two-week desensitization period. It was helpful to watch this video to see how the pros do it :)
ReplyDeleteHow great to watch the evolution of Olive. She did not disappoint us. Thank you Tim and Donna and all the other folks who gave Olive a chance to be such a great dog!
ReplyDeleteSo happy for Olive and thanks to all the people that helped her along the way and didn't give up on her and also a big thanks to Bad Rap for educating us on what steps it took to get Olive to her happy ending today. It will certainly help a lot of dogs. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and for your compassion. Great video.
ReplyDeleteUpifting and inspiring to see Olive make such an impressive journey after all that she went through. She as so lucky to have landed at Badrap for her intro to life. Hope her next chapter is terrific as well.
ReplyDeletewhat a wonderful story! thanks for doing the work, and for sharing it with all of us.
