Olive met a very nice man named Larry this weekend and his wife Karen. They said they were looking for a friend for their cute elderbull boy Zoolander. Zoo came to them from BR waaay back in 2004, back when he was very shy and needed extra special love to help him enjoy the world. It seems Larry and Karen have a fondness for tender hearted dogs with stories and an extra talent for helping them along, because Zoo is about as happy as any dog can be today.
Gosh. I wonder if we have any girls with special stories that need a home? Who could we possible introduce them to? While we're racking our brain thinking up possible matches, we thought you'd enjoy this photo of Olive having a little get-to-know you moment with Larry and Zoo.
A very nice picture that captures the tender moment perfectly. Sounds like some more good news is in the works. Here's hoping.
ReplyDeleteFingers and toes are crossed. If the adoption goes through, hopefully Larry will be in favor of a visit every now and then from Olive's SoCal fan club. :)
ReplyDeleteeeeeeeeeeee SO excited for my favorite girl, Olive!!!!!!! hoping all goes well :)
ReplyDeleteHopefully the rumors are true. Sounds like Olive would be one lucky girl to find a home with Larry and Karen and Zoolander. Nice picture. Hoping for good news in the future.
ReplyDeleteGood grief, what is it about a grey face that gets me every single time?!
ReplyDeleteOlive I am so happy for you!!! After all you have been through, you deserve nothing but the best. And Larry and Karen sound pretty awesome! I am sure you and Zoo became fast friends, what a handsome older fella' he is! Good luck gorgeous Olive!!!

ReplyDeleteThis news brought me to tears yesterday. Olive's story was very touching. I'm so glad she had the luck and advocate to bring her your way. Dog speed on your new journey of true companionship, Olive. ~happy dance~
ReplyDeleteGlad you got your happy ending Olive after a rough start. Thanks to all of you who opened up your hearts and knew what to do to get Olive on the path to where she is today. Truly a great example of not giving up on a dog. The Vicktory dogs are another perfect example of not giving up. Thanks to Bad Rap and all the other compassionate people who don't give up on helping these great dogs.
ReplyDeleteI check this blog everyday, so I get attached to the dogs that live at the barn, and may I just say, I sure am going to miss Olive's smiles and happy little faces, but I am so much more thankful that she is getting people of her very own to love her full time. Every dog deserves that! Dear Olive, your day has finally come!
ReplyDeleteThanks to all for your support and love for this once-wayward girl. What a journey! We'll come back with updates and new photos this weekend so you can have the skinny on Olive's new family. Family! ---- it feels so good to type that.
